2017 GMC Terrain Denali Review, Release Date

This is the epitome, or at least that’s how GMC showcases it to be, of what a compact SUV can be. The peak of luxury, performance and any other feature that a 4-door traditional 5-seater SUV can have – this 2017 GMC Terrain Denali tries hard at it.

2017 GMC Terrain Denali – Exterior Expectations and Luxurious Interior Design

Imagining Jay-Z or Snoopy hanging around this car with a few beautiful belles thrown here and there is easy – this 2017 GMC Terrain Denali is exquisitely glamorous.

The wheel arches carry over into the front fender with style and arch in over the fog lights bordered by metal “French-cut” with an undercut of an air intake beneath. The grille sports the GMC logo with aplomb; with its matte metal mesh and chrome, surrounds looks laid-back and masculine. Black bordered headlamps sports LEDs cut into two layers circumcised by sharp indicators. The ‘Denali’ on the side finishes the deal only to be carried over to the back.

The sexy cleave over rear lamps bordering windshield is the first thing that is noticed. Contoured with the body, the lamps snugly fit in with indicators on the inside. Front fascia styling is carried over to the back clustering in the two sharp rear reds on either side. The back fender houses a snug diminutive exhaust.

Worth mentioning – this 2017 GMC Terrain Denali comes with custom 18” or 19” wheels.

In a nutshell – GMC Terrain Denali 2017 is something worth ogling.

Cozy and hi-tech:

Leather all-the-way inside is the formula which GMC have laid this car with. From the floor to the steering wheel, from dashboard touches to seat stitches – there’s premium leather everywhere. GMC has successfully showcased Denali as more than a trim, as a signature brand logo with the tag-name embossed or stitched onto the regal front seats. To make things better, there’s always a few mahogany wood grain accents inserted and touched into subtle places. Everything’s worth a ‘touch’ in this plush cabin.

2017 GMC Terrain Denali – Powerful Engine and Performance

Along with the SLT trim, this high-end compact SUV comes with an engine option other than the 2.4 Inline 4 VVT SIDI one; it’s much more powerful.

  1. Engine Type – 3.6-liter VVT(Variable Valve Timing) SIDI (Spark-ignition Direct-Injection) V6.
  2. Output – 301 hp @6500 rpm and 272 lb-ft@4800 rpm.
  3. Towing Capacity – Up to 3500 lbs.
  4. MPG (Best with FWD) – 17/24/20 mpg.

Add to all of these the options of an FWD or AWD and what this car becomes is probably the option on paper.
