The Cadillac is set to take the SUV and crossover market by storm in the near future. It is remodeling its existing vehicles as well as manufacturing new ones in order to have an edge over its competitors such as Audi, BMW, and Mercedes. Sources privy to the automaker’s plans also says that it could borrow from the SRX in the styling of its 2018 XT3 model. The all-new model is expected to be the most affordable SUV under the Cadillac brand. It will also be the smallest SUV ever made by the American automaker.

The 2018 Cadillac XT3 exterior is expected to bear design motifs just like preexisting Cadillac models such as the Escalade and the SRX do. The inclusion of the motifs is seen as a move by Cadillac to market the upcoming car to younger buyers. The brand new car will also have a much compact shaped in comparison to the models like the SRX and the Escalade. On its front, the new car is expected to feature a large grille that looks like a V-shaped shield and vertical LED headlights. There will be a pair of LED taillights at the back of the car and two ascending character lines on its side. The Cadillac XT3 2018 will also feature a three window design like the other Cadillac models. It will likely have a flattened rear window. All in all, it is expected to be aerodynamic and attractive on the road.


In terms of interior features, the upcoming 2018 Cadillac XT3 is expected to have a modern and appealing infotainment system. This is likely to feature a standard sized screen or a large touch-enabled screen. It will also have a V-shaped center console. The car’s interior is expected to be largely similar to that of other Cadillac cars although with much more elegant styling and refined materials.

The standard model of the upcoming SUV will be powered by a 2 liter, 220 hp turbocharged engine. This EcoTec inline-four engine is expected to produce 250-pound feet of torque. Other trim models are expected to have high-powered versions of the same engine. In terms of performance, the new SUV will have a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission. The 2018 Cadillac XT3 will like to have an all wheel drive (AWD) or a rear wheel drive (RWD) configuration. Details of the upcoming model’s fuel economy are not yet out, it is expected that they will be unveiled when the new 2018 Cadillac XT3 is showcased later this year.

The Cadillac is expected to offer a lower price on its 2018 XT3 model in comparison to that offered by its competitors on similar SUVs. This will be in a bid to attract more customers. The price of the 2018 XT3 is expected to be slightly under $30,000 since this is the starting price of most of the rival cars. In to the release date of the upcoming car, Cadillac has not issued any official information but sources say that the car could be out anytime in 2017. The upcoming American car will have competition from Germany. As it has been mentioned before, the new Cadillac is expected to face intense competition from the SUVs and crossovers manufactured by German automakers Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. Such models include Audi Q3, BMW X1, and Mercedes-Benz GLA among others.Unlike in the case of other cars which outsiders have managed to catch a glimpse of before their official release, Cadillac has managed to keep its 2018 XT3 model so well under wraps. It has not been seen in public. There was a time it was thought that the car had been spotted but it turned out that it was the 2018 Chevy Traverse being tested.
